Dr. Lisa E. Medwedeff is a highly esteemed, award winning physician and our Founder of Village Internal Medicine in Plano, TX. With a profound dedication to patient care, Dr. Medwedeff has established herself as a trusted healthcare professional in the community.
Dr. Medwedeff completed her medical degree at a renowned medical institution, where she developed a deep passion for internal medicine and a commitment to providing comprehensive and personalized care to her patients. Following her medical education, she pursued her residency training in internal medicine, gaining invaluable experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions.
With a strong focus on continuous learning and professional growth, Dr. Medwedeff remains at the forefront of medical advancements and best practices. We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Jones, MD, to Village Internal Medicine Group! With a dynamic background that combines business acumen and a passion for healthcare, Dr. Jones brings a fresh perspective to our team.
After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Baylor University, Dr. Jones embarked on a successful career in the banking and mortgage industry. However, a calling to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives led Dr. Jones back to school at UT Dallas, where additional courses paved the way for medical school.
In 2015, Dr. Jones proudly graduated from Texas A&M School of Medicine and embarked on a journey to specialize in internal medicine. Following an intern year at The University of Texas Medical Branch, Dr. Jones transferred to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas to be closer to family.
With a commitment to providing exceptional care, Dr. Jones completed a rigorous residency program in internal medicine in 2019, becoming board certified. Since 2020, Dr. Jones has been a valued member of Texas Health Physicians Group, utilizing their expertise to offer personalized and evidence-based medical care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Jones enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and cycling, as well as immersing themselves in different cultures through travel. Dr. Jones also appreciates the arts, regularly attending concerts and visiting museums.

We are thrilled to welcome Christine Cosenza to join our team at Village Internal Medicine Group in Plano, TX, as one of our newest providers, bringing with her a wealth of expertise in aesthetic medicine. With over 20 years of experience as a Physician Assistant and a dedicated focus on aesthetic medicine for the last decade, Christine's passion for aesthetics shines brightly. She firmly believes in the power of rejuvenation and skin treatment to reflect the youthful spirit within. Christine's aesthetic regimen includes three essentials: medical-grade skincare, monthly chemical peels, and energy devices to stimulate collagen growth, improve skin elasticity, and enhance youthful appearance.
Christine's background in medical-grade skincare is extensive, having worked with top brands like SkinBetter Science & Epionce, alongside the innovative Village Aesthetics' own medical-grade botanical skincare line, to create personalized treatment plans tailored to individual skin health needs. She skillfully utilizes neuromodulators such as Botox, Dysport, and Jeuveau to enhance and rejuvenate the skin's appearance.
Additionally, she champions cutting-edge Radio Frequency devices, including Scarlet SRF & Agnes, as her tools of choice for targeted treatments. Excitedly, she is now integrating NeoGen PSR with Radio Frequency into her treatment offerings to create a comprehensive and balanced protocol that optimally stimulates collagen and elastin, ensuring the highest standards of care and results for her patients.
Originally from upstate New York, Christine's journey into healthcare began with a degree in dietetics from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, leading to a career as a Registered Dietitian. However, her aspiration for greater medical involvement led her to become a Physician Assistant, completing her master's training in Philadelphia, PA. Her diverse medical background includes neonatal medicine, inpatient pediatrics, sedation, and medical weight loss, but her passion for dermatology and aesthetic medicine truly flourished during a dermatology rotation.
Christine's move to Texas in 2020, alongside her husband Dave, marked a new chapter in their lives, embracing the warmth and vibrancy of the South. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys exploring Texas, dining at new restaurants, swimming, and relaxing in their backyard.
As Christine steps into her role at the Village Internal Medicine Group, she looks forward to contributing her extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for aesthetic medicine to the Plano community, offering her clients the highest standard of care and personalized aesthetic solutions.
Nupur obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing followed by her Master of Science in Nursing as a family nurse practitioner at Texas Woman's University. She holds credentials from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board and is committed to staying updated on the latest research and education in her field.
With over five years of experience as a registered nurse at Baylor Scott & White, Nupur excelled in a medical intensive care unit, where she focused on the care of individuals facing often complex conditions. This strengthened her clinical judgment and she is able to provide holistic care for her patients. She understands the the importance of building long-term relationships and supporting patients and their families in making informed decisions about their own health.
